Over the years here at Print Dialogue, we’ve had the pleasure of working with many businesses and individuals who are new to the design and print process.
It’s often hard to communicate effectively without a shared vocabulary, and the lexicon of design is varied and not always self-evident. For this reason we thought we’d share a post by Mary Stribley that explores some of the basics as far as design is concerned. You can check out her article here, on Canva.
It should be noted that in point number “17. Alignment”, the bottom right caption of the image could also just be called “justified”, and this can apply to both vertical and horizontal planes:
